Our Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • If you wish to cancel 14 days before the arrival date, we will refund 80%* of the booking value in the original payment mode or 100% in the form of a future credit note. 
  • Cancellations that are made between 7-14 days prior to the arrival date will receive a 50% refund of the total booking value or 60% in the form of a future credit note.
  • For any cancellations requested within 7 days of the check-in date, the booking will be non-refundable.
  • If the booking has been partially paid for, the cancellation will be deemed non-refundable.
  • Our standard cancellation policy exempts cancellations made for peak dates.

*Please note: Cancellation fee worth 20% of the booking value shall be levied for all refunds processed by MountEdge Hospitality. This is primarily applicable to cover platform charges, convenience fee and processing charges.

Standard cancellation policy will not be applicable for peak dates.

Peak Dates:

2024 – 25 month-wise season peak dates are:

  • Jan’24: 26th – 28th.
  • Feb’24: There are no Season dates in this month.
  • Mar’24: 23rd – 31st.
  • Apr’24: There are no Season dates in this month.
  • May’24: 3rd – 31st.
  • Jun’24: 1st – 30th.
  • Jul’24: There are no Season dates in this month.
  • Aug’24: 14th – 19th and 23rd – 26th.
  • Sep’24: There are no Season dates in this month.
  • Oct’24: 10th – 13th and 29th – 31st.
  • Nov’24: 1st – 10th.
  • Dec’24: 21st – 31st.
  • Jan’25: 1st – 5th and 24th – 26th.
  • Feb’25: 14th – 16th.
  • Mar’25: 13th – 16th and 28th – 31st.

Rest are all Off-Season dates.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Future Credit Note work?
  • In case of any changes made to a reservation wherein the updated booking value exceeds the original amount, the difference must be borne by the guest. 
  • The validation period of a Future Credit Note will be specified on it and cannot be extended. If a booking is made using credit, the check-in date must be within the validity period. 
  • In most cases, a Future Credit Note expires six months from its date of issue, unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of issue. 
  • A Future Credit Note cannot be combined with another credit note. 
  • All credit does not have to necessarily be used at once, and can be partially distributed between bookings. 
  • Credit can be transferred by dropping an email on [email protected]
  • If a booking has been made using credit and subsequently cancelled, standard cancellation policy will apply.
  • All Future Credit Note issued under regular/ special COVID-19 policy can be used to book any Mountedge property.

By Guest:

  • A rescheduling request can be raised up to 14 days prior to the check-in date. 
  • Any difference in price will have to be borne by the guest. 
  • A rescheduling request cannot be raised for peak dates.

By Mountedge:

Mountedge reserves the right to cancel a booking. In such a case, guests are eligible for any one of the following options:

  • MountEdge shall offer a Future Credit Note (valid for 6 months from date of issuance) for the entire booking value.
  • A full refund for the total amount paid.
  •  
  • Standard check-in time is 2 PM and check-out time is 11 AM.
  • GST is applicable on cancellation fee. 
  • All refunds issued exempt accommodation fee and cleaning fee. 
  • In case of early check-ins and extended departures, an additional fee may be charged depending on MountEdge’s discretion and availability of the home. 
  • Bookings made via third-party sites or OTA’s, such as Airbnb or GoMMT, may be subject to the respective channel’s cancellation terms. Please check the Cancellation Policy of the site where the booking was originally made.

House Rules

  1. All guests must keep at least one government ID mentioning address with them. It is mandatory at the time of check-in.
  2. A trained and responsible caretaker is present to help you. Housekeeping will be taken care of. If you require any additional help, you can ask the caretaker, request you to be generous. If you are satisfied with the service, please feel free to leave a tip. The caretaker will be available from 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM.
  3. Guests do not have access to the kitchen. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals can be provided at an additional cost. The costs for the aforementioned food and beverage offerings and events are subject to an 18% GST charge. Prices and items may vary subject to availability and peak season rates. Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed.
  4. Alcohol consumption is allowed but you will have to Bring Your Own Booze (BYOB). Please ensure you and your group stay absolutely safe. We also trust our guests to enjoy a happy high without indulging in drunken misbehavior of any kind. Property is in the gated community so any misbehavior is not tolerated.
  5. Smoking is allowed in the outside areas.
  6. No illegal activities including consumption of banned drugs are not allowed.
  7. Playing loud music is restricted after 10:00 PM.
  8. Unmarried couples are allowed.
  9. This place is LGBTQ Friendly. Gender identity is a spectrum, and of course, love is love.
Important: This villa is in a gated community. For stag bookings, a refundable security deposit will be collected at the time of booking. Cars can reach directly at the villa and park inside. Jio & Airtel mobile networks work fairly well here. There are CCTV cameras that capture the external areas for security purposes. The caretaker stays nearby. Guests are earnestly requested to treat the home with care. In case the guests decide to leave the premises, they are advised to return to the property by 9:00 PM.
